
A great game to play when on the roads in France is to spot all the departments on the registration plates on passing vehicles. In a couple of weeks in Normandy this summer, we managed to spot most of the them apart from six including 2A - Corse-Sud and 2B - Haute Corse. A friend of ours has seen them both in Normandy this year! Registration plates for new cars changed this year, and so you really need good eyesight to see the department number in the bottom right hand corner of the plate. Still, for the moment, most cars still have the old plates so spotting them was fairly easy.
