We're back after a relaxing half term and the pupils are already working hard! Our year 7's going on the Pas de Calais should have paid their full amount by now, and I'm sure are looking forward to the trip in June! Year 9's and 10's going on the trip in October to the Somme should be soon paying their second deposit. Although our year 8's all haven't received letters from their penfriends in Rwanda yet, the ones who have so far, were delighted to receive them, and hopefully we'll get the rest soon! The Spanish club on Tuesday lunchtime and the French club on Friday lunchtime were well attended as usual this week, so well done to Susanna and Claire, and next week the Mandarin club will be launched and takes place on a Thursday lunchtime with Miss Xu. Acitives planned include games, paper folding, watching Chinese films, seeing videos, and learning about school life in China, so should be loads of fun! Please see Miss Xu, for an early lunch pass if you have school meals. Our year 11's are working hard, and please remember that we are running extra revision classes on a Thursday evening after school. The year 8's started the next language of the Carousel this week, and it is going well so far! It is not too early for pupils to be thinking about their next project for the Carousel project week.
