This week we were back after a wonderful break. Our Spanish and French clubs were launched properly this week, and we had lots of interest for both. Susanna played some great games with the pupils in the Spanish club and Claire showed Toy Story 3 – in French! All very successful! We also began our year 11 Spanish and French revision classes, so please note that these take place every Thursday evening after school. Exceptionally, in the event of a clash with a school meeting or another subject revision session, we will hold the class on another evening in the same week. This morning we handed out the World Language Perfect Championship certificates to our pupils – we had 40 pupils who achieved Gold, Bronze or Credit certificates so well done to all of them! Mrs McHale took photos of our students with their certificates! We are now preparing our year 9’s for the FCSE French exams which will take place this term. I will publish the exact dates for the rest of the year, and in the event of any planned absence, other arrangements can be made.
