We've had another busy week this week.  We've been starting work on our next controlled assessment in year 11, the second languages in year 9 are working well, and we told our present year 8 about our Carousel of Languages which will be starting after Christmas.  Pupils will continue to study French as their main language, or can swap to Urdu as their main language, and all will have half a term's taster language of Mandarin, Spanish, German, and Urdu.  We have sent a letter out to all the parents about it, and showed the following power point to all our year 8's Download LANGUAGES CAROUSEL AT GRANGEFIELD !  Parents, please contact me if you have any questions about this.  The pupils will be doing a project in the final week of each half term, so it's all quite exciting and we're really looking forward to next term!   The Spanish and French clubs continue to be well attended and so lots enthusiasm there from our young learners!
