Mrs Roe’s weekly update
We’ve had a great week at Grangefield despite the weather. Year 6’s have been here for the week preparing for starting with us in year 7 in September, and we hope they’ve enjoyed the experience, sampling the lessons and getting used to our huge school! Year 7’s and 8’s have been taking their final assessment tests and year 9’s have been doing some last minute preparation for the FCSE exams next week. This week, Miss Bell and Mrs McHale took the year 10 Spanish class up to Newcastle where they all went for a Spanish meal, which they all enjoyed! The Tour de France started last weekend and it was great to see how enthusiastic and interested the pupils were in this great sporting event! I write this as Mark Cavendish won the stage again today which was great news!
