A visit to La Tasca Restaurant in Newcastle - with Miss Bell, Mrs McHale and the year 10 Spanish class!!!

"As a reward for their hard work this year, our Year 10 Spanish pupils were taken this week on a hugely enjoyable trip to La Tasca in Newcastle.  They sampled some delicious Spanish food, incuding 'albóndigas', 'tortilla española' and 'paella valenciana'!   They were of course required to order in Spanish and did a fantastic job! After all the gorgeous tapas, the pupils sampled a number of the wonderful desserts, including 'pastel de chocolate con helado' and 'Seville Orange cheesecake'! We rounded up the evening with some 'bebidas calientes' in the shape of'chocolate caliente' and 'café con leche'.  All in all, a wonderful experience and one which we hope to repeat year after year! Well done again to the year 10 pupils who have worked tremendously hard this year!!"    Miss Bell
